BOARD OF REVIEW

Town of Linden assessment will not be completed during the 45-day period beginning the fourth Monday in April.  An initial Board of Review will be called to order on May 15, 2024 at 7:00pm and immediately adjourned.  It will be resumed, with the required notice, when the assessment is complete.  The date has not been set at this time.

The Town Board of the Town of Linden, Iowa County, Wisconsin hereby provides its written notice and an agenda of the public meeting on May 15, 2024, at 7:00pm immediately following the Board of Review, at the Linden Town Hall, 332 Church St, Linden WI.  The Town Clerk has posted this notice on the Township website and at the Town Hall.  The public may provide comments, per established protocol, to the Town Board upon recognition by the presiding officer.

  1. Call to order.
  2.  Roll call. 
  3.  Verification of public notice and approval of agenda of the Town Board meeting.
  4.  Reading of minutes of prior meeting and approval
  5. Public comments -- limited to five minutes per person as per protocol
  6. William Neal – Conditional use to allow animal units
  7. Planning Commission --Jeremie Favre/Ellen Geisler – Site visit/roadway approval
  8. Discussion and decision on refuse/re-cycling contract.  Set months for clean up
  9. Report on interested building inspectors
  10. Vote on cement work around garages and acceptance of bids
  11. LRIP road grant – Roaster Road discussion of grant and engineering
  12. Chairman’s Report –  Road work bids   review and approval
  13. Patrolman’s Report –  Report on MSHA training, pipeline training, Towns Road School,  discussion of material purchase for 24-25 winter
  14. Clerk’s Report –  Increasing dog license fee, annual report filed with State, Invenergy filing, ICHS stray dog, Amanda Gardner 700 disaster training, Amanda Gardner Town of Linden Local Action Recommendation from 2021
  15.   Approval of bills
  16.   Set date and time for next meeting.
  17.   Adjournment
  18.   Convene in closed session, pursuant to State Statute 19.85(1) (c) considering employment promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the government body has jurisdiction. (e) Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session.  Patrolman wage review
