BOARD MEETING MINUTES

January 10, 2024

 

Meeting was called to order at 7:02pm by Chairman Dean Liddicoat. 

Present: Dean Liddicoat, Mark Sieling, Shelly Wendhausen, Sam Palzkill,

Others Present:  Stosh Potocki, Kathy Ladd, Tyler Tonkin, Erice Varner, Greg Tonkin, Tammy Moneypenny, Scott Moneypenny, Tom Small

Confirmed compliance with open meeting law.  Posted January 8, 2024 at the Town hall and on the Town website.

Minutes from the December 13, 2023 Board meeting were approved on a motion by Mark, second by Dean.

Treasurer’s report approved on a motion by Mark, second by Dean.

Stosh Potocki --  Iowa County Farm

 land – 320A are in CRP at the present.  3 listening sessions to consider use of 10A including the pond.  Important to attend.

Tom Small – request to raise inspection fee from $150 to $500 with each responding Planning Commisson member responding paid $100, one time per property regardless of number of visits required.  Approved by Mark, second by Dean

Tyler Tonkin –Planning committee approved the zoning change requested and the driveway with a 10% grade.  Also approved the building site.  Motion by Mark, second by Dean to approve and forward to Scott Godfrey.

Scott Moneypenny—Planning committee approved the building permit, driveway permit and the rezoning as requested by Scott.  Approved on a motion by Mark, second by Dean to approve and forward to Scott Godfrey.

Planning Commission – rules and guidelines need to be updated.  The committee members will meet and discuss and report back to the Board at the next meeting.

Town and Country – contract was reviewed and approval tabled to next meeting.

Concern about snow plowing on Bucket Road.  It was plowed beyond the turnout and a large bank of snow was left.  Brian Pete called expressing concern that his road was not getting plowed timely.
