BOARD MEETING MINUTES

December 13, 2023

 

Meeting was called to order at 7:03pm by Chairman Dean Liddicoat. 

Present: Dean Liddicoat, Mark Sieling, Jeff, Shelly Wendhausen, Sam Palzkill, Josh Husom.

Others Present:  Liz  Larson, Stosh Potocki, Kathy Ladd

Confirmed compliance with open meeting law.  Posted December 13, 2023 at the Town hall and on the Town website.

Minutes from the November 13, 2023 Board meeting were approved on a motion by Mark, second by Jeff.

Treasurer’s report approved on a motion by Jeff, second by Mark

Scott Moneypenny – January agenda for home inspection

Kathy Ladd – mentioned an accident on Roaster Road

Driveways for wind turbines – discussed rate for inspection.  Town does not inspect commercial drives

Added William Neal to the Planning Commission on appointment by Dean

Humane contract – revised with no cats.  Approved on a motion by Mark, second by Jeff

Approved election inspectors for the next two years on a motion by Mark, second by Jeff:  Kathie Swanson, Brian Neil, Pat Laufenberg, Kathy Ladd, Mary Bahler, Jessica Grettie

Board passed a resolution to not have a Treasurer’s bond.  Motion by Jeff, second by Mark

Nothing has been heard from Pattern on the wind tower license

Kathy Ladd – has a letter she would like sent to Jarchow Law regarding sending copies of the WEFLO to Pattern, etc. by certified mail.  Motion by Mark, second by Jeff to send the Jarchow letter.

Dean – Laxley trees need attention.   Mark to contact Duane Deutmeyer regarding removal.

Josh – snow fence is up.  List of recyclables and prices for January will be handed given to Wilbert.

Wage increase for clerk approved by the Board.

Next meeting set for January 10, 2024

Bills approved on a motion by Jeff, second by Mark.

Motion to adjourn by Mark, second by Jeff.
